Stream of Consciousness represents the true-to-myself mental state of not knowing what to draw for my final project in class: I decided to follow my stream of consciousness and used sumi ink and water to leave random marks following the tune of pop music and then tried to find patterns within: a person sitting on the cable car, a cloud that has eyes, the whale ejecting water, and two alligator-like characters… Instead of composing a scene that makes the most sense, this work represents an untouched record of my thinking processes and how I observe signals from randomness.
